Nick is a tutor specializing in math and science. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Merrimack College. Nick’s background is in the biotech/life science field where he has been a lab scientist working in therapeutic research for 10+ years. Nick also works as a math instructor at the Academy of Problem Solving at its Lexington campus. He is passionate about getting students excited about STEM and encouraging critical thinking skills.
Nick’s passion for tutoring started in college where he worked in the library’s math center helping his fellow students complete their homework or prepare for exams (any math class through Calculus II). Immediately after college he spent a volunteer year in the Chicagoland area tutoring elementary school students after school on weekdays. Nick loved incorporating academics with fun activities.
Outside of work Nick enjoys visiting parks with his dog Whiskey, reading, and doing arts and crafts. He is currently learning to sew and how to design and make 3D-printed projects.
