Peter Conti is an award-winning writer, professor, and tutor. He was educated at Brown, UCLA, and Columbia, earning four degrees. His books include Whatever Happened to Martin Barnett and Gringo, a #1 Best-Seller on Amazon and a Gold Medalist at the 2017 Miami International Book Fair. Academy Award-winner Joe Pesci produced his plays House Arrest, Prose & Cons, and Murderers Anonymous. Peter has extensively taught sixth grade through grad school, at Ivy League colleges, in Shanghai, Kabul, Nairobi, and all over the United States. For many years Peter headed the Math and English Education Departments at a Learning Center in Manhattan’s Chinatown, a few blocks from where he was born and raised. Professor Conti currently divides his time between LA and NY/Boston, continuing to write and teach, and help students improve their ISEE/SSAT and SAT/ACT scores.
