In his 15 year career in public education, Nick acted as a teacher, college counselor, program director, and assistant principal. As a college counselor he assisted students in gaining admission to colleges and universities such as Harvard, Penn, Bowdoin, and Yale. Beyond helping with the application process, Nick has supported students in navigating the financial aid and enrollment process in colleges all across New England.
As a teacher he specializes in every level of middle and high school English instruction, from remedial literacy courses up to Advanced Placement. He is also comfortable tutoring US and World history.
Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Davidson College and holds a Master’s in Secondary Education from CUNY, Brooklyn College. He holds a permanent teaching certificate in secondary education from the state of New York.
As an amateur artist, Nick enjoys illustrating and drawing in pen and ink.
