Lindy Forrester holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Simmons University and a teaching license in Massachusetts for grades 5-12. She graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies, and Tufts University with a Master’s Degree in Art History. Having taught in the Massachusetts public schools for many years, her areas of expertise include the subjects of ELA, History, and ESOL; building academic strategies for reading comprehension and writing development; and strengthening executive functioning skills. Lindy has trained 100 professors on pedagogical practice for the U.S. Department of State, presented at an international conference in Toronto, and won the “Most Helpful Teacher” award, a school-wide superlative given by students at her high school. She sees herself as a coach and guide helping students develop skills that will serve them throughout their academic and professional lives. In her free time, Lindy enjoys doing various kinds of art (her work has been exhibited locally), watching Kdramas, traveling throughout Italy, listening to music (Latin, Classic Rock, K-R&B, Afrobeats), learning languages, trying out new recipes for friends, nurturing flowers, and petting all of the animals.
