Leigh Ann is a dedicated higher educational professional who has spent the last eight years working exclusively as a College Counselor at Livius.  During this span, she has had much success helping students pursue many different college paths, including top-tier schools, Ivy League Universities, Art and Design Colleges, and DI, DII, DIII athletics.

After going through the recruiting process for college soccer, Leigh Ann played four years on the Women’s Varsity team and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. The experience of balancing academics and athletics proved equally as fun as it was rigorous. She later earned her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University.

Prior to Livius, Leigh Ann’s career was spent working on behalf of the Department of Education’s TRIO programs. These programs provide college admission, financial aid, and career counseling to students transitioning from high school, the military, and undergraduate programs to further their higher educational pursuits.

When discussing college choices with her students, Leigh Ann’s expertise ensures that her students first have a clear academic goal, and then have a robust admission strategy to attain that goal.  With three children of her own, Leigh Ann knows when to be patient with students, and when to encourage students to get to work!

Leigh Ann enjoys working with high school students and discovering their motivations for college and beyond.
