Erin grew up in Newton and attended The Winsor School for middle and high school. She then went on to Brown University where she earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Science, Technology & Society. Erin’s passion for teaching began with her work as a Teaching Assistant for Computer Science courses at Brown where she learned how to break down complex subject material into simple, digestible steps. Her tutoring experience also includes SAT Math, Algebra, and volunteering as a reading and writing tutor for underserved students in Los Angeles.
Erin believes all students have the ability to do well with the right guidance and a supportive environment. Her approach is based in meeting students where they are at, personalizing lessons to the individual, and empowering students to problem solve independently.
Erin is now pursuing a career in acting. In her free time, she enjoys ceramics, watercolors, and baking banana bread.
