Alisha is currently pursuing her career in medicine at Stony Brook University in New York through a combined 8-year B.S./M.D. program. Upon completion, she will earn both her undergraduate and medical degrees. Alisha has a strong background in science, having conducted research across leading institutions, such as Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, she has experience tutoring middle and high school math, as well as teaching English to new learners. Her diverse academic and tutoring background contributes to a patient and adaptable teaching style that helps students build confidence and master challenging concepts.
At Livius Prep, Alisha specializes in SAT/ACT preparation, AP subject test tutoring, and general academic tutoring. Recognizing that no two learners are the same, Alisha is passionate about meeting students where they are and tailoring her instruction to meet their unique needs.
Looking ahead, Alisha is eager to continue advancing her expertise in education and healthcare. Most importantly, she looks forward to meeting her new students at Livius and helping them achieve success!
