Shoshi Gordon graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College with a bachelor’s degree in English and Education. She has worked in middle- and high school ELA classrooms in Maine public schools, as a writing assistant in Bowdoin’s Center for Teaching and Learning, as a B’nai mitzvah speech tutor, as a seventh-grade biology- and writing teacher at Breakthrough Manchester, and as a education intern at The Telling Room, a creative writing nonprofit for youth. Her experiences in traditional and unconventional educational settings allowed her to develop a unique blend of skills which bridge both environments. Shoshi is an avid tea drinker, recreational crafter, enthusiastic dancer, occasional knitter, and lover of stories in all forms.
