Katarina, a native of New Jersey, joins Livius Prep as a college counselor. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2021 with a dual degree in Psychology and History, leadership distinction and Summa Cum Laude honors. She served as a University 101 Peer Leader and was on her sorority’s executive committee. She continues to be a huge Gamecock fan and cheers them on during all their sports seasons (especially football). In May 2024, Katarina graduated from Boston College with a Masters in School Counseling. During her time at Boston College, Katarina was an Academic Coach at the Connors Family Learning Center where she aided students in the development of their executive functioning skills and a guidance counselor at Catholic Memorial HS in Roxbury. In her free time, Katarina enjoys exploring the different restaurants of Boston, attending sports games or spending time with her cat. As a former cheerleader, Katarina brings a positive, encouraging presence to her tutoring sessions and believes in a student centered approach.
