Eunyque Sykes is an enthusiastic and experienced educator with a strong academic background and a love for teaching. An alumna of Boston Latin School, she earned her degree in Environmental Studies from Bucknell University and holds a Master’s in Environmental Sociology. Currently pursuing her PhD in Sociology at Boston College, Eunyque has a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and effective educational strategies.

Eunyque’s teaching journey includes four years of inspiring young minds as a first-grade and middle school science teacher in Boston. Now a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Boston College, she brings her enthusiasm and expertise to undergraduate classes in the sociology department, where she loves creating engaging and dynamic learning experiences, including improving students’ writing, reading, and analytical skills.

Beyond her academic and professional achievements, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her dog Samira, reflecting her love for animals, nature. As a former student-athlete, she has a deep passion for sports and staying active, which she brings into her teaching to make lessons engaging and relatable. Eunyque’s dynamic personality and ability to connect with students on multiple levels make learning both fun and effective. Her enthusiasm for teaching, combined with her vibrant interests, ensures that she creates a positive and inspiring educational experience for every student.
