Eric Haywood recently graduated from MIT with a Master of Science and an MBA, where he served as President of the Data Analytics Club and as a quantitative methods tutor to other business school students. Since graduating, Eric and his cofounders have been focusing on building an innovative tech startup which has won numerous awards around the Boston innovation ecosystem.
A Colorado native and graduate of a local public high school, Eric’s sense of adventure took him abroad for his undergraduate studies at Sophia University (上智大学) in Japan, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Culture and passed the highest level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N1). He went on to work for a Japanese company as a global product manager, gaining on-the-ground business experience in 12 countries across 4 continents.
He has a wife and one child, and when he’s not tutoring or working, Eric enjoys quality time reading Harry Potter with his 7-year-old daughter.
