Minh Thu Do is a dedicated and passionate tutor with a strong foundation in Chemistry and a deep commitment to student success. Currently pursuing her MS in Nutrition and Metabolism at Boston University, Minh holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Wake Forest University.
One of her most impactful experiences as a private tutoring was helping a high school student in Florida for AP Chemistry. When they started, the student was overwhelmed and falling behind. Through customized lessons, patient guidance, and a focus on conceptual understanding, Minh helped her not only improve her grades dramatically but also build lasting confidence in the subject.
Minh’s background as a researcher in both environmental and biomedical sciences allows her to make connections between textbook concepts and their real-world applications. As a College and Career Adviser with AmeriCorps, Minh has worked with hundreds of students one-on-one—honing her ability to communicate clearly, adapt to individual learning styles, and motivate others.
Whether it’s chemistry tutoring, college advising, or academic coaching, Minh’s goal is to empower students to believe in themselves, think critically, and achieve beyond what they thought possible.
