Livius in Plymouth
Formerly Achieve Academics, Livius Plymouth is proud to continue to foster the strong community presence this Minnesota center is known for under the same dedicated stewardship of Plymouth Regional Director Jennifer Paidosh.
Our expert tutors understand the unique challenges students face as they complete high school and prepare for college, especially given the rapidly changing academic landscape in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can learn more about our in-center health and safety measures here.
As student advocates and academic liaisons, we recognize that a key factor in successful tutoring includes the connections we foster with our students and families. This is true whether our instructors are working with students across the table or meeting for a virtual session.
For over 35 years we’ve honed our programs and practices to meet the evolving needs of college-bound students, beginning with academic support that benefits young learners. We offer private and small-group tutoring for SAT prep, ACT prep, general academics, AP exams, private school entrance exams, and college admission.
In addition, we’ve developed free online classes and programs to ensure all students, no matter where they are, can benefit from targeted test prep and college admission support.
Our Plymouth center serves students from high schools across the Twin Cities, including Providence Academy, Wayzata High School, Holy Family Catholic High School, Maple Grove Senior High, Mankato High School, Hudson High School, and South St. Paul High School.
What Our Clients Say About the Livius Experience
"This team was just amazing with my son. He's the type of kid who needs assistance through the whole ACT process, and he isn't the greatest test taker. He was given numerous test-taking strategies and he loved the teachers. They motivated my son to handle almost everything himself, and we were amazed with the results. He performed very well on the ACT. Money and time well spent!"
Helen, Livius ACT Parent
"With an ACT superscore of 29, Amy was accepted to all of the schools to which she applied. There is no doubt in my mind the assistance from you and your team enabled her to be accepted at Wheaton (her "stretch" school). We've also seen the financial aid benefits from the assistance you provided."
Gregg, Livius ACT Parent
"Our daughter’s ACT score went from a composite 24 to 29 in less than 30 hours of one-on-one tutoring. Her science went from a 22 to a 31, with similar improvements across 3 of the 4 test areas. She is not a natural test-taker but needed to take the ACT for admission to the colleges of her choice. Our tutor not only taught our daughter how to approach the mechanics of the ACT, but she learned the material thoroughly."
