Foundations Course
Following this decision, sign up for the Foundations course. This program is a 4-week course designed to improve test-taking skills and strategies followed by a practice exam. The results of this exam are analyzed and provide guidance for further preparation. This course and practice test is also provided by Livius Prep for FREE.
Online SAT Prep Courses at Livius Prep
Our targeted prep courses are available in two different modes online. We use a personalized approach based upon foundational testing to match each student with the right tutor and level for both courses.
The base option, Prep Essentials, provides access to an online platform with thousands of practice questions along with full-length practice tests. Students will have 12-hours of live interactive online class instruction. The class is based on and utilizes Mastering & Secrets of the SAT.
The other online course is 12-hours of online private tutoring. In addition to the elements included in the Essentials package, students will receive 12 hours of one-on-one private virtual tutoring.
The Plan to Test
Planning to take the SAT should begin in sophomore year. You should actually take it the first time before 11th grade so that you’ll have time to retake the examination during each season of junior year. This schedule will allow you to maximize your score as you begin applying for admission and merit-based scholarships.
